Hello there, blog readers! We have been without WiFi at our house for almost a month. What a rough summer for Team Roberts on the technology front: one iPad under the running bath faucet - dead. One iPhone in the potty - dead. One modem (and all of the glorious entertainment it provides us) - dead. Oy! 

Staycation Round 4: Perot Museum

Our final stop of Staycation was the new Perot Museum. I feel like a common theme that keeps emerging is that I want to revisit all of these places when they are less crowded. This holds especially true for the new Perot Museum. It is amazing, but I think we didn't even scratch the surface of all of the cool things to do and see because of the crowds. But we did see some things, so let's look! 

Staycation Round 3: Glen Rose

Our day at the zoo wore us out, so we rested for a day before hitting the road to Glen Rose, TX! We had heard good things about its attractions, and since it wasn't too long of a drive and we knew we could sleep in our beds, we gave it a whirl. Spoiler alert: we will be back! We had a great time! 

Staycation Round 2: The Fort Worth Zoo

Our first local destination of staycation was the Fort Worth Zoo. I'm pretty embarrassed to say that this was our first visit in Luke's almost five years... : (. I know. Y'all, I'm good at other things. 

Staycation Stop 1: Winona!

The second week of July brought a much-needed staycation for our family. While I've had lots of time with Luke and Kate, Jeremy has been very busy at work. Fortunately, he took a week off, and since we didn't think it would be the best idea to go to a big destination with a newborn, we opted instead to make some little trips. Our first stop was to go to Jeremy's parents' in Winona. We had a great weekend. 

July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th: Some BIG Days!

We really squeezed quite a bit into our first couple of weeks of July, starting with a great play date with the Henry girls at the nearby splash pad.
