Staycation Round 4: Perot Museum

Our final stop of Staycation was the new Perot Museum. I feel like a common theme that keeps emerging is that I want to revisit all of these places when they are less crowded. This holds especially true for the new Perot Museum. It is amazing, but I think we didn't even scratch the surface of all of the cool things to do and see because of the crowds. But we did see some things, so let's look!

Kate stayed with Honey and Grand for this excursion, so it was just Luke and his mommy and daddy. We didn't get a lot of pictures of the main attractions because a)did I mention it was crowded? and b)Luke is kind of a flight risk, so it was critical we both keep our hands free so we could spot and intercept him. :D However, we did let him loose in the bottom floor's Children's Museum. He loved the water table!

And the jungle gym wasn't too bad, either!

This wrapped up a wonderful week together. One lesson learned: you can take a staycation, sleep in your bed every night, and still wind up totally exhausted! :D That just must mean that it was a week well spent.
