Valentine's Day 2015

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

January Odds and Ends

We're on our second "snow" day, and with actual snow looming, we may have a third day at home. Lord help me... cabin fever is setting in!

Anyway, I thought I'd take some time to remember the January that was. Picture time!

Our Seattle Trip

Towards the end of September (which feels like approximately ten years ago), Jeremy and I took a trip to Seattle to celebrate our tenth anniversary (celebrated in November) and Jeremy's 40th birthday. Why Seattle, you may ask? Honestly, no idea what really moved us to choose it, but we had a wonderful time!

Kindergarten Halftime

It seems like a week ago that I nervously prepared to send Luke to Kindergarten. I've practically blinked, and half the year is over!

Before I let the pictures do the talking, I will say with 100% confidence that staying at home is the best decision I could have ever made to help Luke with this transition. Granted, the fall of 2014 has included MASSIVE transitions for every member of our family, but I'm thankful that I have been able to focus completely on Luke's day-to-day routine!

Santa Pics 2014

Since I am so behind in blog posts for the year, I'm going to do some updates that are picture-heavy and text-light. We took the kids to see Santa at North East Mall through the Caring Santa program. Can't say enough good things about it - if you have a child with special needs or know someone who does, refer them to caringsanta.org ASAP!

Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve at home. After the kids went to bed, Jeremy made a delicious steak dinner, and we drank some wine and went through what I have named our Jar of Blessings.

20 Months Old!

Oh Katherine Anne... no one is sassier than you! You're growing up so fast. Just a year ago, your spunk was just emerging...

Today? FULL-THROTTLE SASS. I'm not going to pretend that you don't wear me out, but I know this much: things sure are fun with you around, and I wouldn't trade you for anything!
