Valentine's Day 2015

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

A week before the holiday, I headed to Luke's school to help him make his Valentine box for his class exchange. And why yes, I did do some rather inspired work with pipe cleaners. Thank you for noticing! ;)

Luke's amazing teacher texted me a picture of him opening his treats with his class. So precious! He enjoyed delivering his Valentines to his classmates' boxes. So cute!

Kate's class exchanged Valentines, too. I'm so thankful that Kate is so little that she didn't realize that she's the only one whose mom didn't "Pinterest" up the occasion and instead sent plain old Sofia the First cards. (Kudos to Kate's classmate that gave every child mom a FULL tube of Hershey-ettes. You are the best one in the class!)

On the 14th, we took the kids to DQ for ice cream. Not surprisingly, Kate looooooooved it.

Luke and Mommy...

...and Kate (who couldn't be bothered to look up for a picture. That ice cream isn't going to eat itself) and Daddy.

That night after we put the kids to bed, Jeremy grilled steaks, and we had a candlelit dinner, after which we watched the NBA All Star Saturday Night. You may think we're lame, but whatever. We know what we're about. :)
