Easter 2015

The week prior to Easter was busy for us - Luke had surgery to have his tonsils and adenoids removed on 3/27 and missed the whole next week of school. We have some sweet friends from Sunday School that wanted to cheer us up, so while we thought we would have missed the opportunity to hunt eggs, we got to do so in our own front yard!

Fast forward eight days and it was time for Easter baskets, church, and our annual egg hunt at Granny's.

(Feeling rather swanky with my cellophane bags around the kids' baskets. Thanks, Dollar Tree!)

Clearly, I was not trying to get frameable pictures.

Perhaps Kate doesn't have the best taste in accessories... it's a creative choice anyway. :)

Enjoying the piano at Granny's.

Here are MOST of Granny's great grands. Notice angelic Luke on the far-right, front row. So precious, and this sitting still and looking at the camera shows HUGE progress for him! So proud. Really, most of the great grandkids did great...
Well... most. :) Kate doesn't do well just after a nap, y'all.

Carson was feeling her. (This may be one of my favorite pictures ever, by the way. Has a photograph ever so perfectly captured a person's? You can find Kate sobbing into my arms in the far left corner. Being 2 is rough, y'all.)

"We were buried in baptism as Christ was buried in death. As Christ was raised from the dead by the great power of God, so we will have new life also. If we have become one with Christ in His death, we will be one with Him in being raised from the dead to new life." ~Romans 6:4
