Happy Birthday, Kate!

Time flies when you're having fun... I just can't believe that Kitty Kate is 1! 

You are such a sweet girl, but you are spirited, too! You have sass for days and days. On the morning of your birthday (April 3), I wanted to get some sweet pictures, but you were pretty mopey. :( 

 We did manage to get a kitty cat sticker on your eye patch. :)

Your first birthday fell on a Thursday. The next day, you had your one-year checkup. Here's how you stacked up:

Your one-year appointment also included some yucky shots. Hindsight is 20/20 - I would not have done your birthday party the day after your shots when you were crabby. :( Womp womp. Sorry sweet girl! 

I did a kitten theme for your first birthday since we call you Kitty Kate. Plus, I figure come this time next year, you will have your own ideas! :)

Despite quite a few photographers, we didn't get a great shot of you at the singing and cupcake moments. You were tired, Miss Priss. 

Luke was, too... he needed Daddy for some support.

You ultimately decided the cupcake thing wasn't too bad, but you really didn't demolish it quite like I expected you to. 

Cousin JD just couldn't resist borrowing your birthday cap when you were done with it. :)

A fun birthday party sure wears a girl out!

And because your mom is a nerd, we even had to do one final commemoration that night during bath time.

You are such a delightful little girl! You keep Mommy and Daddy on our toes, but we wouldn't want it any other way. Happy Birthday, sweet baby girl! We love you, Katherine Anne!
