But I don't WANNA get up!

Last week, Luke had a lot of big - well, LATE - nights. On Thursday night, Jeremy and I went to the GCISD Education Foundation Shining Stars Banquet, where we got to see my Aunt Mary receive a big award, and I was fortunate enough to be recognized by a Top 20 graduate as well. This meant Luke got to spend some time with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Johnny. They all had a blast, I think. Luke played and played and played... and stayed awake until almost 10:00 p.m. Yikes!

So anyway, the pictures in this post are from my attempts to wake him up Friday morning. Luke doesn't sleep in a diaper - but he was so knocked out that I was able to take off his pajamas without him stirring. Seriously. So, post strip-down, Luke was unmoved...

At least for a bit - then he protested my intrusion and got into his cocoon position.

After a few tickles, he rubbed his eyes...

...and begrudgingly found his way into a seated position.

"I am NOT cool with this, Mom."

Finally, I got Luke out of the crib. I couldn't get more of the play-by-play since I was, um, occupied with his diaper, but by the time I messed with him some more and got him dressed, he was his normal, on-the-move self, running into the hallway to raise some you-know-what!
